2014 Inner City Kids Week (May 12-16) was your chance to show you care about kids living in poverty in Vancouver – and you did!

The CLICK-led week started with the official kick-off at the Vancouver Art Gallery, followed by the always-exciting Pulling for Inner City Kid tug-of-war competition.
Secondary school teams from across the city competed with their VPD School Liaison Officer for the coveted trophy, and in the end the Vancouver College team came up winners.

CLICK’s “Definitely Not a Gala!” fundraising reception and silent auction, hosted by the irrepressible Fred Lee, drew the most guests ever to enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and bid on an enticing array of fantastic silent auction items.

When it was all over, your support at the reception and through donations raised almost $20,000 for the programs that make a critical difference to kids living in poverty in Vancouver – programs that apply to CLICK for funding twice a year, in the spring and the fall.
