More than a hundred students and volunteers gathered on the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery behind a hand-lettered CLICK banner

Every year, Inner City Kids Week opens with the Pulling for Inner City Kids tug of war on the lawn of the Vancouver Art Gallery: teams of Vancouver high school students against their Vancouver Police school liaison officers, with the Canucks' mascot Fin refereeing the chaos and a wooden championship trophy on the line.
