Captain James Cook Elementary School
Takaya Tours offers Grade 7 students an immersive, land-based learning experience led by the Tsleil-Waututh Nation. Students explore traditional waterways by canoe, engage with Indigenous stories and songs, then discover local ecosystems through guided rainforest walks—fostering cultural understanding and environmental stewardship.
AIRS Program Society
AIRS brings professional artists into under-served Vancouver elementary schools for year-long residencies, creating dedicated studio spaces where students explore diverse art forms and express themselves creatively. Through hands-on, culturally inclusive programming, AIRS helps over 4,000 students build confidence, process emotions, and develop artistic skills that might otherwise be inaccessible to them.
Vancouver Hawks Field Hockey Club
The Vancouver Hawks Elementary Schools Program brings free, high-quality field hockey instruction directly into Vancouver schools, removing barriers of cost and access.
