In April the CLICK board of directors approved the disbursement of $102,300 to 38 programs. These programs make a critical, daily difference to the 1 in 5 children and youth living in poverty in Vancouver.

The programs will make life better for Vancouver children at risk in a number of ways: by providing safe and enriching out of school care; feeding hungry children with nutritious snacks and meals; offering literacy and homework support; providing access to sports, camps and field trips; access to the arts; leadership opportunities for youth and more.

"Working poor families in Vancouver are struggling more than ever to keep food on the table. And the opportunities other children take for granted are simply out of reach for them," says CLICK president Brenda Penton. "We are so deeply grateful to CLICK supporters and donors for making the lives of hundreds of Vancouver kids better."

CLICK will be leading the City of Vancouver-declared 2026 Inner City Kids Week from May 11th to 17th.
